Students and Staff Aim to Give 10,000 Hours

A new initiative with giving at its heart is going from strength to strength at the University of Gloucestershire.

The 10,000 Hours campaign is inviting everyone in the University community to log their hours of volunteering and community work and reach this year's target. So far more than 3,500 hours have been logged since the project launched at the end of January.

A postgraduate research student and his supervisors have received an international award for their research from the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation & Dance (AAHPERD).

Strategic Alliance Partners for Higher Education Forge Long Term Commitment

The University of Gloucestershire, Gloucestershire College and South Gloucestershire and Stroud College are celebrating the first anniversary of a strategic alliance for higher education in Gloucestershire and the West of England. Launched in February 2012, the partners have signed a ten year Memorandum of Understanding to formalise their collaboration.
