Reginald Sharpley - Exhibition on a neglected Campden artist

Court Barn Museum, Chipping Campden, will be showing the work of a neglected Cotswold artist, Reginald Sharpley, from 28 March to 2 June, 2013. This will be the first time Sharpley's work will be on display to the public.

Court Barn Museum acquires a Tower of London commemorative goblet

Court Barn Museum has acquired a silver goblet, designed by Robert Welch, which commemorates the 900th anniversary of the founding of the White Tower at the Tower of London in 1978. The goblet, made in parcel silver gilt, was commissioned by HM Government (the then Department of the Environment) in a limited edition of 50.

Chorley's forthcoming sale on Thursday 13th December contains a superb collection of prints, watercolours and oil paintings relating to Plymouth and its naval history.
There are several interesting views including Plymouth Fish Market (Lot 325) by Nicholas Matthew Condy (1818-1851), showing figures haggling, carrying an estimate of £2,500-3,000.
