Summer children events at Nature in Art

As always, Nature in Art is running an exciting programme of children activities throughout the summer holidays. The activities have already started and already we have seen students develop there painting skills in ‘Perfect Painting’ and leave with some fabulous mad hatters hats! But there is more to come! The activities included still had availability at the time of writing.

Talented students head to Edinburgh Festival

Performing Arts students from the University of Gloucestershire are preparing to showcase their talents at this year’s Edinburgh Festival.
The students have raised £5000, including a £2000 grant from the Janet Trotter Trust to travel to the Fringe Festival where they will be performing three shows.

Original Tolkien Artwork at Moreton-in-Marsh in August

An annual Tolkien-inspired Art Exhibition, held at The Redesdale Hall, Moreton-in-Marsh, Glos will, for the first time, feature an original Tolkien drawing from 1911.

Making a Splash - Alan Brassington at The Dollar Street Gallery, Cirencester

Making a Splash is a show of around 40 small watercolours and drawings of the Cirencester Open Air Swimming Pool by Alan Brassington at The Dollar Street Gallery, 34-36 Dollar Street, Cirencester, Gloucestershire from 22nd May and continuing throughout the summer.  Prices start from £150.  A small run of illustrated posters signed by the artist is also available.

Now into its seventh year, the annual Art Exhibition is held at The Redesdale Hall, Moreton-in-Marsh, Glos, a wonderful Victorian building on the outside and just as delightful with beamed ceiling inside, making it an ideal location, with free parking too.
