Weird weather creates recipe for autumn colour success

Experts at the Forestry Commission's National Arboretum at Westonbirt are predicting a riot of leaf colour alongside the spectacular show of forest fruits this autumn.

A weekend of Stargazing in Chipping Norton

On Saturday 12th October , Chipping Norton Amateur Astronomy Group (CNAAG) will be in Chipping Norton town centre to observe the Moon through a range of telescopes as part of The International Moon Observing Night. From 5.30pm onwards , weather permitting , they will be outside Jaffe & Neales bookshop.

The #westonbirt10 is a list of the top ten things to do at Westonbirt, compiled by staff to reflect some of the unique experiences visitors most enjoy while at the National Arboretum during autumn.

He joins the orchestra as their Associate Artist for the 2013-14 season which will see him perform three of his favourite works for cello and orchestra in the newly rejuvenated Civic Hall.
