As from Wednesday 1st July 2009 Simon Chorley Art & Antiques will be known as Chorley’s.

Chorley’s are also delighted to announce the appointment of Mr John Harvey as a Senior Director to the firm.

This welcome appointment contributes significantly to the firm’s forward plan to develop its business and profile at Prinknash, Gloucestershire and, through its continued emphasis on experience and innovation, to
establish the current saleroom into the premier regional auction house.

John Harvey has been in the fine art trade and auctioneering business for the last 38 years, with the last 30 years as a director of Sotheby’s South West region running their Cheltenham office. He was brought up in
Gloucestershire and always held Bruton Knowles (Chorley’s previous incarnation) in high regard and has known Simon Chorley for some time.
