Ebrington & District Gardening Club - Summer Show 2009

Summer Show 2008Summer Show 2008The Club’s 29th Annual Flower and Vegetable Show will be held at The Washbrook Barn, Ebrington on Saturday 8th August.
The Show is open to the public at 2.30 pm with the presentation of Prizes at 4.00 pm.
There will be a raffle and Afternoon Teas and Cakes. Admission £1.00.
Come and visit a good, traditional Village Show in the North Cotswolds near Chipping Campden, organised by the Club that won a gold at Hampton Court Palace Flower Show this year.

Entry is to members only, except for the Children’s Classes which are open to any child up to and including the age of 12 years and Floral Art which is open to Ebrington WI.
There are no entry fees or cash prizes and exhibits can be staged on the morning of the Show between 7.30 am and 10.45 am
There are 21 Classes for Vegetables, 40 Classes for Flowers, 7 Classes for Fruit, 3 Classes for Floral Art, 12 Classes for children, 16 Classes for Cookery (including a Cookery Class for Men), 5 Classes for Wine, 4 Classes for Photography, 4 Classes for Craft Work and 3 Classes for Children’s Art and Floral Art.
New for this year is The Gabrielle Falkiner Cup for the most points in the Vegetable classes and the Children’s Grow It Classes.
There will also be a display of pictures of the Club’s exhibit “Strawberries and Cream” which won Gold and Best in Class in the “Inspiring Spaces” Class at this year’s Hampton Court Palace Flower Show. 

The Club is a very active and thriving club which is affiliated to the RHS and NVS. It offers a varied programme of garden visits and talks on garden related topics as well as Spring and Summer Shows.
Annual membership is £5.00 per person and this also entitles you to discounts on Dobies seeds and with local garden centres.
