Cirencester's Corinium Museum will host a trio of exciting activities for children and their families during October half-term.
Starting on Monday October 26th, children aged between 7-12 years can come to explore characters from Roman Mythology.
The workshop will run from 2pm-3.30pm and will also include creating masks, which the children will be able to take home with them. The cost of this event will be £4 (£2 for season ticket holders) and booking will be necessary.
On Thursday October 29th, join the ‘Perfume from the Past' workshop and make a beautiful Victorian lavender bag and Tudor pomander, whilst learning all about the use of herbs in history.
This event is open to children ages 7-12 and will run from 2pm-3:30pm. The workshop will cost £4 (£2 for season ticket holders) and you will need to book.
Finally, Friday October 30th is ‘Fab Fossil Friday'. Drop in with an adult from11am to 3:30pm and discover the fabulous world of fossils on the 200-year anniversary of Charles Darwin's birthday in 1809.
You can help to create a fantastic, swirly ammonite collage, which will be made of many fossil drawings, and create your very own fossil artwork to take home. You could even win a prize by entering the museum's fossil trail - which costs £1.
The cost of this event will be included in admission fees, and each individual activity will cost £1 per person (no booking required).
