Keep fit this winter at the University of Gloucestershire sports centre

The Hardwick sports centre at the University of Gloucestershire is open for business and offering a range of sporting activities and facilities to University students, staff and local people.

The sports centre on St Paul’s Road Cheltenham has a large sports hall, a gymnasium and training rooms available for hire to individuals and community groups.  Facilities for playing badminton, five-a-side football, table tennis and basketball are on offer as well as an indoor tennis court and cricket nets.

Instructed classes including kickboxing, astanga yoga, hula-hula and circuit-training are open to everyone who wants to keep in shape whilst having fun.

Sports Centre manager Charley Cooney said:
“We’re hoping that Hardwick will provide many recreational opportunities for everyone as we have a range of facilities that can be booked, many instructed classes and some fun and friendly leagues taking place.”

Timetables can be seen at www.glos.ac.uk/living/fit
