This month Court Barn Museum will once again be showcasing the work of the Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen in their annual Christmas Selling Exhibition.
Fine Sparks: A shimmering array of craft to buy from the Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen will be an opportunity for visitors to buy work from members of the longest surviving craft guild in England, founded in 1933. Guildsmen such as feltmaker, Anne Rogers; paper marbler and bookbinder, Christopher Rowlatt; jeweler, Uschi Arens Price and glass artist Amanda Lawrence will all be showing their work.
Entrance to the Selling Exhibition is free of charge; usual admission charges to the Museum apply.

Court Barn Museum is an independent museum and the brainchild of a group of local enthusiasts called the Guild of Handicraft Trust. The museum was created through the generous support of the Heritage Lottery Fund and monies raised by the Guild of Handicraft Trust.
This groundbreaking museum, situated in the Cotswold town of Chipping Campden, tells the story of how a small town, in a beautiful setting, became a gathering place for creative people at the start of the 20th Century and continues to attract designers and makers today. Highlights include work by C.R.Ashbee, F.L Griggs and Katharine Adams.
Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen is dedicated to promoting contemporary designer crafts and is a resource for those seeking high quality British contemporary designer crafts, whether it be for education about the crafts and design, or be exhibition curators, or be public art consultants, or be those inspired to purchase or commission specially designed and made items. A permanent Gallery in Painswick provides the opportunity to buy members work all the year round:
