Hook Norton Brewery to distribute to Norway

Cotswold Hills based brewery, Hook Norton, has signed a distribution agreement with Oslo based Malting House, that will see its award-winning range of beers being sold across Norway.

The Norwegian Malting House is a beverage import company dedicated to the import of strong and specialty beer to be sold and marketed in the hotel, restaurant and catering sector and the Norwegian wine and spirits monopoly.

Jon S. Smith Johnsen, Malting House Director, comments: "We are very happy to sign a distribution agreement with Hook Norton Brewery and look forward to marketing and selling their fantastic range of beers in Norway. We will launch bottled products first and a solution for draught will follow early next year.

"I have visited breweries all over the world but this little piece of magic, that is Hook Norton Brewery, is something special indeed. We will, for sure, be bringing our on trade customers to visit as soon as possible. Only after visiting the brewery can one truly appreciate the heritage of the brewery and its excellent beers!"

Handcrafted in the Cotswold Hills since 1849, Hook Norton remains one of only 32 independent family-run breweries. With the founder's great great grandson, James Clarke, still at the helm, Hook Norton continues to offer a wide range of award winning ales, including Old Hooky, Hooky and Double Stout.
