Stars in their eyes: KES pupils enjoy best ever GCSE results

Pupils at King Edward's School Bath were today celebrating record-breaking success in their GCSE exams, with 47% of entries at A* and 80% at A* or A. 51 pupils, exactly half the cohort, gained 5 A*s or better, with a remarkable15 pupils achieving at least 10 A*s. This year, exams were taken in 25 different subjects, reflecting the very broad range of talents and interests in this very engaging year group.

Hearty congratulations go to all pupils on these outstanding results; clearly the hard work has paid off, and they can now move on to Sixth Form study with real confidence and ambition. We wish them all well in this next stage and look forward to further success in the future.
