Moreton to host energy advice session in May

Advice on energy saving during the spring and summer months – as well as a free energy-saving light bulb – will be the subject of a session at the Moreton Area Centre next month.

Cotswold District Council staff at the High Street office will welcome advisers from the Gloucestershire Energy Efficiency Advice Centre on May 9th, who will offer free and impartial advice on a range of heating and efficiency issues. The session will last from 10am-1pm.

The Moreton Area Centre staff hosted an event in January which focused on keeping warm during the winter, while the theme of next month’s visit will be the rising cost of fuel bills and making savings on energy in your home. The session will also focus on general energy efficiency.

Energy advisers will give out useful information, thermometer cards and the opportunity to find out about ways to help with home insulation and heating systems. Refreshments will be available and a free energy-saving light bulb will be given to each homeowner that comes to the session.

If you are unable to come to the Moreton Area Centre, you can contact an energy adviser at the Gloucestershire Energy Efficiency Advice Centre on FREEPHONE 0800 512 012 or email: eeac@swea.co.uk.
