Chablis Tasting Friday 27th February

Another great winemaker coming to visit Edward Sheldon, Shipston-on-Stour...

Lyne Marchive from Domaine des Malandes will be coming to visit, to take us through the family history and some of the great wines they produce. If you are a Chablis fan then the whole evening will be dedicated to talking about and tasting Petit Chablis, Chablis, Chablis Premier Cru and Chablis Grand Cru.

Lyne and Jean-Bernard, MarchiveThis great Domaine originates from the work of several generations of Tremblays (Lyne Marchive's family), locals from a village called "La Chapelle Vaupelteigne", one of the twenty villages that make up the Chablis wine region.

This will be an informal tasting, in our cellar, although we do heat the cellar as much as we can, warm clothing is probably advised! Tickets are £12.50 per person which will include all tasing wine and canapes provided by our wonderful catering partner Beverley Webb.
