Free Up The ‘Cash In Your Nursery’ By Selling Outgrown Baby & Toddler Gear at the Cheltenham Twins Nearly New Sale, Gloucestershire Families are urged

Never mind ‘Cash in the Attic’, Gloucestershire parents are being encouraged to set free the ‘cash in their nurseries’ and sell their outgrown baby and toddler toys, clothes and equipment at the Cheltenham Twins Group’s annual Nearly New Sale.

The sale is being held on Saturday, 13 October, from 10.30am – 12.30pm at Charlton Kings Baptist Church, Church Street, Charlton Kings, GL53 8AR. It is open to everyone, not just families of multiples.

Ellie Dutton, chair of Cheltenham Twins Group said:

“It costs so much to raise a baby nowadays, and little ones grow out of their things so quickly, that families can have hundreds of pounds worth of outgrown baby and toddler gear in their nurseries. Our sale which is open to everyone, not just twin families, can help them turn their nearly new items into cash, and we do the selling for them. For a seller’s pack email [email protected]

Local businesses who want to market directly to families with babies and small children can hire a stall at the popular event.

Funds raised at the sale will contribute to Cheltenham Twins Group’s family support and networking activities. Unsold items can be donated to County Community Projects, a Cheltenham-based organisation that exists to improve the lives of children, young people, families and vulnerable adults with multiple and complex needs.

Cheltenham Twins Group runs a weekly playgroup every Friday from 10-12 at Charlton Kings Baptist Church, Church Street, Charlton Kings, as well as a buddying scheme, which offers one-to-one support for anyone expecting more than one baby in Cheltenham and Gloucestershire.

The group also provides extensive support for mums-to-be of twins and more, including regular hospital talks and monthly Expecting Twins Evenings where expectant mums meet twin families in their homes to get advice, ask questions and simply see what life is like with two or more babies at once.
