Following the successful management of IPE’s 2008 awards in Barcelona, CPL were chosen as the preferred supplier of audio visual equipment and technical support for IPE’s Real Estate awards, taking place in the grand setting of NH Krasnapolsky, Amsterdam.CPL overcame a number of logistical issues to deliver a fantastic event in the Wintergarden suite.

Using a bespoke set design CPL created a look that fully complimented the publication’s identity as well as the unique features of the room. A short installation time of just five hours, coupled with daylight conditions throughout the event meant that CPL had to ensure the rig went without a hitch.

The show consisted of two Sanyo XP100 Projectors, doubled up to counter ambient lighting conditions. All presentations were designed in house using Apple Keynote, and all VT’s were delivered through 17″ MacBook Pro Laptops. Due to the layout of the room a d&b sound reinforcement system was used, distributed evenly around the audience to give maximum levels with minimal interface for all delegates. Finally the set and show floor was illuminated with subtle wash and breakup effects, so as the sun began to set on the Wintergarden the room came to life with colour.

In addition to delivering the evening awards, CPL were entrusted with the day’s conference, this was the first time that IPE had opted to use the same company for both events. By harmonising branding across both events IPE were able to make the days conference flow seamlessly into the evening awards.

Both the client, their guests and even the presenters agreed that this was one of IPE’s finest events ever!
