Oxford, city of culture is to host its first International Art Fair. Showcasing the works of some of the worlds most talented emerging artists in one of the finest buildings in this beautiful city.
A free to public event at the atmospheric Oxford Town Hall, running from 7 – 9 Feb 2014, this Art extravaganza is not to be missed.
A first to Oxford; International art fair of Modern and Contemporary art, handpicked artists & galleries coming from as far as Argentina, Russia, Colombia, India, and Europe. Your chance to view the striking artworks, meet the Artists, learn the stories and inspiration behind their individual pieces.
This is not simply an Art show. This is your opportunity to purchase original one-off art pieces directly from the artist. From experienced collectors looking to add to their collection to first time art buyers there will be something to suit everyones tastes and budgets.
Expect a wide variety of artworks; Paintings, Illustrations, Sculptures, Photography Art, Printmaking, and bespoke crafts.

Award-winning art on show
‘Best Artist Award’ winner: Expressionist painter Souren Mousavi, born in Iran – who once was arrested and punished for her art and beliefs – will be exhibiting. Her work influenced by Klimnt, Dali, Picasso and particularly Frida encompasses strong watercolours, distinctive oils and acrylics as well as drawings, is a must-see. And also ‘Global Best Artist Award’ 2013 winner John Josimo Paterson, painter of figurative nude female with asian influences, full of passion and sensation.

The spectacular opening on Friday evening is a fantastic evening for the art lover. Admire all art on show, have the first opportunity to purchase, listen to some great music that compliment both the artworks as well as the fabulous venue, and enjoy a glass of the best quality Catalan Cava sponsored by Juve & Camps.

About The Global Art Agency Awards Ceremony:
Giving Artist & Gallery the recognition that they deserve and acknowledgement for their hard work. The Awards are judged by Curators & Guest Judges. Collectively they judge the participants of the Oxford International Art Fair, and will be announcing the winners Sunday 9th February at 14.00pm at the Oxford Town Hall. Winners will get rewarded with great promotion, press and trophy. The first prize wins also free exhibition participation at GAA’s next Art Event.
