Six Flags Great Adventure, the New Jersey-based amusement park, will soon start its operations. Six Flags is gearing up for the upcoming spring to start with normal conditions, increasing employee strength to over 4,000. Every year the amusement park becomes a hub for thousands of visitors from all across the USA. However, last year, due to Covid-19, the theme park was closed for most of the year.

According to Samantha Katcher, the theme park’s recruitment supervisor said that the hiring would be done to ensure the visitors’ safety. The park will make sure to obey safety protocols.

The hiring process will be starting soon for the peak season, starting from March 2021 to January 2022. This year the authority has decided to engage in a virtual hiring process. The virtual job recruitment process is under testing but will become live very soon.

Interested candidates can access the virtual job fair by visiting the website. According to the recruitment team, the openings are put into the following categories.

•             For Operations: Security, Ride Operations, and Park Services.

•             For Safari: Educator and Gatekeeper

•             In-Park Service: VIP service, Special service, and Admission

•             Lifeguards

•             Landscaping

•             Wardrobe: Clerks, Launderers, and Seamstresses

The entire recruitment campaign will be done virtually to ensure no gathering occurs to stop the spread of Covid-19. The candidates need to apply with proper documents, which will be collected from the parking slot by the company’s HR department. After processing, eligible candidates will be given a training date. On that specific date, interactive training will be conducted virtually to help the new employees learn the skills required in their specific role.

Interestingly, Six Flags Great Adventure has mentioned that older people with serious medical issues should not visit the park to risk their lives. People attending the parks during the spring and summer should be equipped with proper protection and follow strict guidelines. The theme park has membership passes and seasonal passes, and you can also ask for a range of special passes during your visit.
