As figures show that there was a decline in the sales being made in shops prior to the Covid 19 pandemic. This decline has now been accelerated due to the lockdown conditions.

Some 185 jobs are to be created around Ireland in a “vote of confidence” for Ireland, despite the economic impact of the pandemic. Eight companies from Europe and the USA are creating these vacancies a report from the Industrial Development Agency (IDA) stated. The IDA is responsible for the attraction and retention of inward foreign investment. The location of these jobs are Cork, Clare, Galway, Dundalk and Dublin.
