To be given national and worldwide awards for outstanding service as a retailer is an achievement in itself, but imagine the surprise and delight to the owners of a local Shipston on Stour bridal shop when they found out they had won such awards before ending their first year of trading.

Village Brides, a small rural bridal dress shop in Long Compton, Shipston on Stour were delighted to find out they had won 1st prize for ‘Bridal Gown Retailer’ in their local area. Not only was this wonderful award achieved but they also won 2nd place for ‘Best Bridal Gown Retailer in Warwickshire’, 5th place for ‘Best Bridal Gown Retailer in the UK’ and an astonishing 8th place for ‘Best Bridal Gown Retailer in the World’!

Owners, Ramsey Soudah and Michelle Elliot say ‘We are both so delighted with the news and want to thank each and everyone that voted for us, it makes it all so worthwhile to know that our customer service is truly recognised and appreciated’. Our aim is to be the nicest bridal shop and to get these awards before we have even accomplished our first year of trading is just unbelievable’!

Village Brides is a bridal shop like no other, with over 80 wedding dresses (this number increasing daily)which are made up of preloved or ex-sample dresses, their main role is to bring today’s brides stunning designer wedding dresses but at a much more affordable price. With prices in their shop from just £199 I think we are going to see many more awards for this outstanding business.
